Chiricahua Apache Studies

We are pleased to announce a new course offering of CHIRICAHUA APACHE STUDIES.  The course will be offered through Western New Mexico University during the 2024 spring semester on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 AM MT to 10:45 AM MT.

This course introduces students to Chiricahua Apache culture. It includes social, educational,
environmental, political, economic, artistic, health and caring aspects of their lived history and practices. Students will have the opportunity to explore the complex histories, world views, perceptions of the environment, relationships, and values of Chiricahua people through a variety of perspectives.
